Colour Mixing

Hiya! How’s life? I’m great. Thanks for asking. Art has always been fascinating through colours and artists are always exploring the colour wheel to fascinate their audiences. Playing with different hues on the palette might be a challenge, thus the understanding of the distinction between primary, secondary and tertiary colours will make your colour-mixing significantly simpler.

As I’ve mentioned on yesterdays blog “Psychology of Colour”, all starts with the set of primary colours, Red, Blue and Yellow.

By putting into combination of primary colours, the three secondary colours are produced that is Purple, Orange and Green.

Eventually, when mixing these three secondary colours, tertiary colours are obtained, Citron, Russet and Buff.

Upon these formulas, exact hues are produced for artworks.

Thanks for reading. Goodbye!
